A ghost life (by analogy with “still life”) is a study of a mathematical object.
The object in this video is a 10x10 2D cellular automata, replicated into a 10x10 grid of copies of itself, with each inner cell added to the respective outer cell. The automata states are mapped to position and rotation, then interpolated with future states.
